Looks like I'm coming over to the dark side
![]() Going to buy a 40" Demon from Chris. Going to set it up as a 4S ship for now! Motor will be a Neu 1110/2Y 2500KV One crack head to another I really liked the way it flew in that video! Not sure what packs to run but after doing some searching here on RCG I may go with 4250mah packs as I don't want to have to add any lead weight. Looking at these to lipo configurations: $143.26 http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/ma...man=PRC&cat=PLP Poly RC (Poly RC LP Line 18c) PRC 2S 4250mah PLP seriesDimensions 16 x 45 x 147mm 0.63 x 1.77 x 5.79inWeight 194 gms. 6.85 oz. Price Total weight for Two at 13.7 oz. $71.63 Factory C Rate 18C - (76 amps) continuousBurst C Rate 27C - (114 amps) under 10 seconds Ideal C Rate 15C - (65 amps) Or two 5000mah 4S packs!? $117 These are made by: Saehan Enertech packs in Korea ZIPPY-R 2500mAh 21-35C 4S1P Spec. Minimum Capacity: 2500mAh Configuration: 4S1P / 14.8v / 4Cell Constant Discharge: 21C (Minimum) Peak Discharge (10sec): 35C Pack Weight: 259g Two would be 18.1 oz Pack Size: 125 x 41 x 28mm 105 amp cont. 175amp surge! Which would give me a 42C/70B 4S Servos? 821 digi servos metal geared??? Or HS225MG is there much difference in flying non digital compared to analog? Hobbycity.com has a few digital metal gear list at around $27 to $33 each but are just a tad heavier...but I may stay with a name brand. Thanks, Oh, BTW, My Wild Wing will be nice to fly in small areas and I'm not going to try and make it any faster...it flys nice at around 85mph on a cheap motor... I will be trying to teach my boy how to fly it soon...good trainer for him! Ken |

I have found that the 225 mg servos like to wander some times and had much better luck with the digi's the just keep you connected better it seems, plus they have tons of torque.
I can also get those batterys for you no prob. ck Quote:
