Heres one way to do it, keep looking through the pics for more examples. That is coro flat and then a few stacks of coro mounted vertically, this helps get the body away from the ground and larger rocks that want to chew on your monokote.

Thanks Atom - I did look thru all the pics but maybe my eyes are failing me. I didn't see which wings had coroplast on the bottom.

Click that link above again, The white is a coro skid plate.

Theres no rite way to do it, some people use triangles, some just a 2" rectangle. You basically want it under your battery packs.

Heres a couple http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attac...mentid=1787233

Here you can kinda see how its built up vertically to make a mohawk so to speak. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attac...mentid=1967118

Heres a good shot, also note the Popsicle sticks on the winglets, these help if you only fly asphalt. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attac...mentid=2033620

If there is a guy behind the counter tell him its for 150 mph wings and was hoping to pick up some scraps for cheap, He will most likely give you some for free. I got a year supply(for me, lifetime to most) for free. If its a lady, dont bother, shell just look at you with a blank stare, then tell you you'll have to buy a whole sheet .......

If you make it to SEFF pick it up from CK or if you like you can get some from Harbor Sales They have a lot of different colors.

I have also used a thin disposable cutting boards for skids.
Cut a triangle and tape it to the nose.

Ohh Tasajara --- lets not even talk about making it to SEFF.. I wanna go so bad. But no one to roll with. I am so tempted to fly down to ATL and then drive over and just be a spectator.

BTW: Thanks for the link.
