Adam ,look you are at 1000 post.Paul mine is 9 oz w out the bats.I would say it will come in around 14 to 15 oz when done with bats.My 22 mini d used to come in like that ,keep in mind the new fs is 34 inches WS .If it comes in at 16 to 18 it is still verry lite with that WS.
Paul how do you like the 48 fs? ck |

Fs48
More progress.
I have the esc installed with air cooling hood scoop. A little access door to plug and unplug the motor. Dunno why but this build seems easier then the others, its going really fast. I think only have one central spar instead of an A frame saves time. I thought about dipping the tips like everyon elses but, I reall dont like how the elevons look when the tips are dipped. I will dip the next one I'm really looking forward to flying this one. |

Ok,I need to ask.
Has any of you guys besides Tim nun flown the 40 slice? I few the one Adam made me tonight. I have ben blown away ever since,Auw of 28 oz. This little beast is one of the best handling wings I have ever flown,it tracks like a demon heavy with only 1/3 the weight. I will rip turns so tight that it left me shakin in my shoes. When I let it go strait, and it would disapear in a plit second. I Was absolutley a mind blowing flight.I have never flown anything so lite that tracked that well ever. Here are my spex, with dirt cheap drivetrain. This is the fastest best handling wing, that I have ever flown for such cheap setup. The gear could be even cheaper then what I have installed. I am sorry that i am tootin my own horn ,but this thing was just absolutely sick. I might have to cut some up and do a sale on them. ck mega 16 15 3 apc 5.25/4.75 cc 25 xtream rx 2 hs 85 I think I will get some pix tommorow 1 old tired 3s 3700 |

Chris,I just read above about your setup on your Slice, sounds great. I still think I'd like to go 4s if you think it will balance. I think I'll go ahead and start the Slice next payday, what the heck I don't really need to eat anyway. I just got your PM if I can just resist my natural urge to go he**bent for speed 3s is much saner and less expensive, thanks for the motivation.

Mark It doesnt need to be 4s.The prop is small and really winds up to the same rps as the 4s with the smaller prop.Keep it lite on this one.
You can even advance the timing and go w a cc 35 and it will be balistic. ck Quote:
