Old i understand... before you go solid on a power system run it past us there may have been some updates to the wing in wuestion ot alternate power systems for the same wing that work well

I'm thinking of the ARC 1.5 + APC6x4 + 4s + D40 combo....I cant remember the amp draw on that.

Is the D40 a 40 amp esc? You need at least an 80 amp esc for that combo, it draws 69 amps.

If you use a 40A, you'll let the magic smoke out! That set up pulls 69A static. Go with a cc80. It's also a good idea to vent your esc location.

Yes i am going to get paid like the rest of you $8.00 an hour. And Paul legoland its a REAL JOB!!!!! I start on Saturday 14 yep i get to operate the rides

Needs to be updated.Things change so fast/often in this hobby..... Everything on that list is valid setups. Its just lacking the new setups.

Yeah...Demon 40...I have a 70A esc (Tower Pro), looks like its right on the border...wonder how much can it take before smoking or how long it can last...

After I'm done getting the hang of the Demon, planning for something... since I have 7pcs of A123 cells!

I have been using the 120amp hextronic's with good luck they cost less than most 80a esc's

The Suppo 100A esc are 40$ at lightflightrc, read they work well too.

Thats it, I caved in ...Officially joined the ritewing gang by purchasing the Demon 40.

I'll be looking out for the postman from tomorrow onwards!
