Your not the only one who would love to see the whole flight.
I saw him at SEFF 2007 flying a 6s Demon....words can't describe how awesome it is to see it in person...

Don't fill bad... I can go to any of 4 flying field/clubs and I am the only RiteWing owner to be found. Funny thing though is, my slowest wing is still faster than any I see.

Maybe it's just me, but I find unlimited vertical on a 51oz bird impressive.
Happy to hear you finally got it going, that is one wicked drive train on the cheap.

Faaaaaaaaaaast!!!!!

Just took the 40 Demon out for the maiden flight. That ARC 1.5 on 4S will flat get with it. A couple ticks of trim and it grooves. On rails!!!!! I got 12 minutes on the 5000 4S and it took 3000 to charge it. I did numerous dives from the stars at full bore. It is a rush coming past you 15 feet away at full boogie!! I love it!!!!!!!!

Got a roll question??
I have a LT60 with an ACR 28/47/2 on 4S and a 7X4 it is very fast and lots louder than the demon 40. But it doesn't roll well. Just a big ole barrel roll both directions. It is set up like the 40, and it rolls almost perfect. Throws are equal in all directions.

The 60 is pulling 44 amps on the ground and will vertical out of sight almost as quickly as the 40, I am sure it will take off vertical. Got 14 minute pretty lively flight and the 5000 took 2689 mah. Great flight times.

You should try the VTO sometime and let me know. I've got a Demon 40 almost built with the same power train and if your's VTO's I won't have to build a rail launcher

Demon 40

The 40 with this power train will take off with the slightest toss. I just gave it a side arm toss at about 2/3 thds throttle and it takes off with unbelieveable authority. I tossed it at about a 45 degree angle. I did the same for the lt60.

They launch very easy.

Details from the site.

Welcome to Western States Electric Fun Fly website. June 6th, 7th, and 8th will be the first annual holding of what will become one of the premier all electric events in the West Coast. So gather up your chargers, and gather up your batteries because this year we hope you'll be impressed with our flying facility and the event located at Apollo XI Field in Encino, CA. Please be sure to check back to this site for updates before and after the event.

I won't be able to make that trip, but hope some of you do and have a good time at it. Take PICS!!!

Hey guys, what ESC are you running on your ARC 28-47-1.5 motors on the ritewings? Static shows I am hitting 87 amps on a 6x4 sport. No idea what that translates to in the air, but concerns me just a bit on the phoenix 80.
