How good is the Drenalyn? I'll tell you how good the Drenalyn is.

Last night after indoor flying, a FB gave me 14 sheets of EPP and told me if I turned one into a Drenalyn, the rest were mine to keep.

Count em up, yes, that's 13, as in thirteen, free, mine, all mine.

Hey gold, I just realized, after gettin all my building tools ready for my wife to bring upsatirs, after the hip operation, I forgot to order my EPP.... Dang nab..... Any chance you can spare me 6 of those freebees you got??? Oh ya, and be careful bringing em with ya on the plane, I don't want any folds in em, yet....
Ho ho, wouldn't I be surprised if you showed up at my hospital room, with the EPP?
Where are you guys getting your EPP? RCSkyFlyer ????????
Wish there was somebody here in Canada who stocked this stuff...
My Drenalyn is all ready for it's maiden, just waiting for a better calmer day now, better get here before next Tuesday, operation day....

Yup, rcskyflyer. We do a group buy of around 100 sheets at a time and I've still got some of my part left.

I'm good for now....

Here's one for you, makes you look like you know what your doing..........or not..........

With the CG set rearward, gain altitude and with the nose pointed up, hit full down and full left rudder. As soon as it flips inverted into a nice FLAT spin, drop the throttle back and let off on the rudder. Just hold in the elevons and it will now spin down fairly slow.

If you want to go back up, just feed in full rudder again. If you want to go back down, let off on the rudder. Up n' down like an elevator with complete control using just the rudder. Let it come down a low as you dare, the reaction to the change in direction is instant.

Very, very lookin', you too

Sheesh, that last one was dated Oct. 12th..... Just cause I went in for a hip operation on the 13th don't mean you guys have to wait for my return, altho the recognition is very enjoyably accepted, ha ha....
Hey, If you follow Franks instructions for a backwards flip/roll, nose down attitude, your getting close to how i fly anyway....
Arriving home on Monday, I was met at the door with my new Drenalyn, and a message attached to it sayin, "No flying till you can walk straight"... Well, the doc not only fixed my hip, he lengthened my leg which was 1/2" shorter that the other, so, no more teetering while walkin, hopefully soon....
Now, let's see what the rest of ya's been up to since I've been in hospital.....

Hey Art

Good to hear that you are on the mend. A good friend of mine had his hip repaced about the same time as you did. He is getting around (slowly with a walker). I talked to him about 3 days ago and he is pleased with the results so far. He had so much pain with his hip the replacement allready feels better. Could be the drugs! He is only 46 years old.

It's always slow around here. I started this thread over 2 1/2 years ago and for some reason the Drenalyn never 'took off' on the zone. Can't figure out why. Anyone who likes Pizza Box Flyers, Darts, NutBalls, Piplanes, etc. will appreciate the next level of fun it can take you too. It's forte is inverted, and about anything else you can throw at it, all this and no pitch problems like most flatties.
