Dragonus II N-Plus Video

Here is my first video of my Dragonus II N-Plus from Hobby-Lobby. I did a build/review thread of this heli here:

http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t337261p1/

The heli is setup with the components that are recommend by Hobby-Lobby here:

http://www.hobby-lobby.com/dragonus.htm

For an all plastic kit I'm amazed by the performance. This is one amazing heli.

For a pretty cheap motor it does pretty darn good. I've been impressed with it. The Jeti-Spin controller that hobby-lobby recommends generally has no issues with it but sometimes it can't get it spinning. A cheap motor with good power. I won't be speeding to upgrade the motor that's for sure. The gyro is going to get replaced with a 401 though.

Lost,

I was gonna say that motor was nice too. Any idea on the amps?

Could you tell me your head settings? Also if you could, perhaps a closeup of the head as I get confused whats "A", whats "B", and whats "C".

Thanks so much. Nice job!

I don't have any good pictures of it funny enough. I was just looking through the review thread. I'll snap some closeup pics of the head tonight. I have the head set for full 3D mode. For the setting itself I used

A2 + B2 + C3

(on the plastic flybar seesaw there are 3 holes instead of 2 like on the CNC parts. I chose the closed hole to the center hub)

I need to get some good pics of it for the build thread as well so I'll post those tonight when I take them.

I'll pull the Jeti controller out tonight and check what it shows as readings as well so I'll be able to give you accurate information from the last flight on the video.

Here's some information from the Jeti-Spin control box from the second flight in the video:

Battery used was not the recommended battery. It was a MegaPower 2200mAh 11.1v lipo

Max Current: 27.9 amps @ 10.4V occuring at 1:53
Min Current: 8 amps @ 10.48V occuring at 4:37
Max Voltage: 12.68V occuring at 00:00
Min Voltage: 10.26V occuring at 4:07
Actual Voltage: 11.94v
Power Off Voltage: 10.91V occuring at 4:51
Motor Run Time: 4:25

The spin controller rocks. I love this thing
