kendall, i'm probably taking a good idea too far, but i do have 7channels. i'm thinking about a 2 stage drop. troops, then supplies.

better yet, hotshots, then a water drop.

Got my KDA 20-22L and tried it out. I am kind of dissapointed. I think one of the windings is off or there is a loose connection somewhere. With a 10x4.7 APC SF the motor is getting pretty hot flying just over 1/2 throttle, and producing short flight times. With a 10x5 APC E prop it has better flight times using lighter battery packs, packs that cannot really handle the apperage. It is still getting a bit more than 'warm' after a long flight.

The floats were freakin amazing! Along with the slow slow flight of the 20-22L landings and take offs were picture perfect. Just beautful. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got flying this bird off of the lake today. Next time I am going to drag the GF out to the lake with me to get a video.

Tuppertn my BluBaby AP came out at 32 oz maybe 34oz AUW with 3s 2200 lipo, UH/HC 3530C motor w/GWS 11x7HD prop, Pentax S40 or S5i camera using the KFm3 wing. Weight without lipo and camera came in as 21/22 oz. I'll post a pic later, she ain't the prettiest plane but she flew great. Did the maiden last week and even took it out Saturday in 15-17 mph winds and with this motor she did great. Landing was too cool into the winds. The plane stayed steady at maybe 5 mph and just touched down easy. I did have to change the landing gear as the first set were just too weak.

Edit: added a picture.

right, 2 step=kfm3, that's what i meant to say instead of kfm2. i'd also like a set of plans if it's not too much trouble (please). besides stability, i'm also looking forward to removing those struts from the camera's view.

thanks in advance,

Whoa ! Bigger BB with KF ! I found some FFF so a bigger one is on the brain ( ? ) I got the wings all cut & layed out waiting on some CF but thinking of makeing GPW proud and using skewers but need to try to be light on the 39 1/2" one cause i'm thinking about using a 1300 kv blue wonder on 3s = 8 X 5 prop.

Tony You use a 3/8" sq.spruce spar on the big KF wing ? ? OH well I forgot to order control rods so I can add to.

Question ? ? ? My sister said I should be able to enlarge the plans one sheet at a time with her copy machine. I'm thinking about the Pawnee. I only have two planes on the bench & one is about done. HeHe
Found a bunch of pink 2" foam in sisters back room. Bring on the FFF ! I only have a pool table with 3 sheets of 3/4" 4X8 plywood for a work bench. Not even using half of it.

Sounds about right then. My 26oz is AUW with a 6oz 3s/2250 and you've got an ounce more grunt under the hood than I do.

Ken, which wing do you mean. There are getting to be a lot of them.

Hi Tony,

Just checked post 107 on page 8 and all I see there are the PDF files for the 52", 42" and L-19 vertical. Nothing there on a 60" wing.

EDIT: Disregard the comment above. I found it there, buried between two others. Sorry, I'll give myself 50 lashes with a wet newspaper for being so silly! AAARRRGGGHHH!!! Now I will go and hide in shame for three minutes!

BTW: Thanks for the 60" plans.

My three minutes in the shame bin are up.

Nice set of plans for the 60" BB Tony. Love the way you did the spar and steps, it should make for one heck of a strong wing. Nicely done instructions too.

THXS!

That brings up a good point -- can all of the UP TO DATE plans be relocated to post #1? -- I try to do the same thing in my posts... keep it all on page 1.

HMMM!

I may, just may shrink the 33" plans I have by 50% in order to get me a smaller one going. That little BB looks pretty nifty.

Is there a set of plans for a 60" BB. I found the wing but I'm thinking a 60" set of plans might be near the size I'm looking for. The 52" plans come out 49 1/2" and I'm to dumb to figure out why. Still cutting & glueing.
