Which bearing? In some cases, yes, very small amounts #242 blue loctite on the outside is OK. Just do not get any into the bearing track.

CLARIFICATION:
BOTH the top and bottom "hoods" of the boom clamp normally have the flat countersunk screws - NOT the socket head screws and ALU can washers. We made a mistake on your's, but I guess they look OK on top.

Nice video - "pop the top hood and BAM! You have access!"

Scott-
ahhh. The washers don't look too bad on top. Flush screws might be nicer. I ran out of red washers though. Maybe on my next order I can get some more.

Thanks

I might need to get a new canopy. I had to cut my Trex canopies to make the motor and servo's fit!!!

Are your canpies molded different to make them fit perfect?

Yes, our RCT-450 Diablo/Sky-Shark plastic and upcoming FG canopies are lager up top to give the extra room needed. I think you can get by with an Align V2 canopy (the larger one) if you have one handy until you get a REAL canopy.

Scott-
Naw, I got some el cheapo xmseller canopies that I had to cut a bit to make them fit. What I do like though after cutting them is that the motor sticks out the top which helps keep the motor cooler in flight. Also reminds me of a reved up muscle car, showing off its guns. Should of mentioned that in the vid. But then again, I had not tried to put on the canopy yet.

Do your's let the motor stick out the top?

Yes, the canopy perimeter is cut to show off the top of the motor, but our motor is still below the canopy line. Other taller motors will stick out the top a little.

Scott you devil you! You mean to tell me I bought a set of the crappy Align gray skids (you know I never liked stock SS ones) and then you go and release those slick looking CNC ones!?!?!?!?!?!

BAH... and I just finished my parts order last night too

Well, you have until Monday AM to add anything you want as that is when FedEx will make their pick-up.
