LOL. I wondered if anyone would be offended by those polishing tips. Based on the responses I've received, I would guess not.

I found another heli podcast

This one really doesnt cut it for me. The guy means well but it just goes to show how different opinions can be. He basically tell his listeners to forget electric heli's and go nitro.

I dont think he's made another one since April. Worth a listen anyway.

Thank god for inside heli.

Sorry for the delay.
Our target launch goal is mon-thur.
Trying line up 3 different time zones for interviews is not a simple matter.

Jamie,

That's quite ok. Im sure it must be difficult for you guys to all be in the same place at the same time. You must still be a bit jittery after hovering that 600 because after that you refered to your owns birds as 'collective pitch'. I thought you were currently an FP man like me?

Anyway, keep up the good work.

-Luke

PS I just placed an order with Helidirect(after some good advice from rarebare, JPC & Co) for my first TREX450SE HDEV2. It was great to hear you say how easy the transition was from HBFP to CP. Phew...

Now there's a group of men who work for a living! Which one are you?

We're still waiting to hear from the Spektrum marketing guy too.

Thanks for the kind words about the podcast. Hopefully we can keep finding interesting things to talk about.

Hey Inside heli team, thanks for the super big site plug on the show, those donations are gona start rolling in now hehehe. I just hope more people get some benefit and help from using the calc, currently only 10 to 20 hits a day.

You did well explaining what the calc tries to estimate, there are a lot of caveats, assumptions, twists and turns to the hole story but you got across the important concept clearer than I could have.

Anyone with idea's or wishes then feel free to contribute in the dev thread.

Imperial and metric units dilemma: Watts/lb (UK) is aproximately (Watts/Kg) / 2.2, or try an online unit converter.

Hey, no problem DH! I think you've come up with one of the most useful tools out there, and we like to spread the word about cool things.
