Wow - love the paint scheme !!! Is that a shorts ? I used to do meat bombing a few years back in a Cherokee 6 - it was not the best design for the job. But alot of fun though.

yea i had the plan blown up to 200% and pinted at a copy shop, due to the huge size of the paper i have a pdf i thought i`ll use but it`s 64 A4 pages so best is to go and get it printed at a copy shop!

i didn`t do any adjustments to the plan because the original plan is a 3mm depron build and i built in 6mm depron, so everything was perfect right away!

The 6mm depron is however pretty hard to bend and i had to build the wing differently due to that fact (can`t fold it over like originally planned).

Thanks Meatbomber, I didn't realize you went from 3MM to 6 MM Depron - that's a good idea (to enlarge 200%). I wonder if you could build the wing for the Puddle Monster by laminating two sheets of 3MM. I might give it a try.

Any chance of getting the non-tiled plans in dxf format? I would like to enlarge it 200% and lay it out so that I can plot it on a 36 inch wide plotter. I am plotting this at work and it is a lot easier to be discreet by plotting one drawing compared to 20 tiled sheets.

sorry i don`t have a dxf file of this, you might want to contact roland merk the designer or dieterw from the rcline forum... there is a big big thread on rc-line about the puddle twin , it`s a german forum but if you post a question in english you will get answers for sure !

I asked for a dxf of the Puddle twin on the german forum but i have not heared anything so far... oh well but to keep you motivated here a few pics of my Puddle Monster

So finally i have a video of my Puddle Monster too!

Note: I`m currently installing a retractable landing gear and the installation of the tail wheel somewhat degrades water handling, also the C/G was too much forward/elevator throttle mic wasn`t perfect... anyway this is a great slowfly seaplane !

I have 2 escs for each motor 1, i use the servo for the rudder with my aileron stick as the rudder is the main roll/yaw control (it`s the only roll yaw control ) so i have the real rudder controll on my tansmitter free.. i use the rudder and the throttle and mix them together with the elevon mixer on my transmitter to make them go together (throttle) or opposit of each other (like the aileron on a delta or elevon plane).
The mixer is not switchable, so i its active all teh time... actually in flight i use it like a rudder on an aileron airplane, but not very much.. it works very well for stall turns thou
