Flew my micro for the first time today!

BE WARNED, I'm going to brag a little (maybe alot).

I flew my Robin for the first time today. I tried helicopters years ago with a miniboy but never learned to fly it. Heck, the darn thing scared me! But back on topic, I made two maybe 60 second sort of hovers during my lunch break. I will admit that I couldn't keep it in one place. I don't know if it is the tiny heli or me (ok, so it probably is me but hey, give a guy a break, can't I blame my flying on the fact that the thing is so small??? lol)

Just wanted to brag on myself a little. In all seriousness, I can't say enough about using a sim before flying the real thing. Heck, I've only used FMS which we all know isn't all that realistic but it was enough to get me in the air BY MYSELF and without breaking anything! Sorry for my ego today but...man I had fun!

Cheers
John

Hi Misskimo

I live in Cliton and work in Vicksurg. Not too far from Columbus but not a joy ride either. Only been to Columbus once and all I saw was the airport. (fuel stop on a cross country)

Hope you stay warm in Alaska. YOU KNOW I WILL HERE! I don't know, maybe I will try a gas one again one day (knock knock knock...stop it knees)

Cheers
John
