Haven't seen this ? BCPP belt driven tail rotor
I'm a local cop in Va Beach, my wife hates this new obsession of mine, keeps the marriage healthy HA. I recently bought a new BCPP, never flown before, Have a healthy does of I can do it, and I did. Into the ground, the side of my wifes car (had it flying well for about 20 seconds though). I do believe that I have (had) a major balance issue, that is solved now, I have taken it completely apart. I needed to anyways, have to know how the thing works, plus I bent the main shaft, no biggie, needed an excuse to by the new parts. yep thats my story and I am stickin to it. I am upgrading a number of different items, such as all aluminum main rotor assembly. Brushless motor, head locking gyro and was thinking about Blade CP/Pro/Esky HoneyBee Belt Conversion Kit w/gear and struts/skids.
That is my main question has anyone tried the belt driven tail rotor system from http://www.helihobby.com/html/eflight_blade_cp.html ?
Thanks for the time,

I upgraded my CPP from stock main motor to the hdx brushless motor and the belt conversion all alumminum from hellihobby, the bird flies flawlessly with great tail authority. HOwever if you you the stock tx, this setup will take you hours to adjust the heli before it can be flyable . And you dont need to have a programable tx to go with this setup(the guy at my LHS keeps saying that it's is impossible to go belt conversion without programable tx), the stock tx does as good as the Dx6 once you figure it out. Here are all the components that i have on my CPP belt conversion:
HDX3800 brushless motor
G90 HH gyro
Stock 800mha batt
plastic flat bottom blade
I get about 7 minutes flying time. Just ordered the Thunder Power 1320 prolite hopefully will get 15minutes out of it.
