Maiden - TL60
CK - this thing flies awesome
I balanced it at 9.5", had to add 3 oz to get there because I really didn't place the servos up front the way I should have. Used HET4W, with 6.3x4 prop, 4350 4S batt - amp draw was 47A. One toss and it floated out nice and straight until I got on the throttle and it just took off, ROCK steady. Trimmed it out on the first few laps and opened it up and it had great speed (I think as fast as my 48" on 3W and 3S, which is exactly what I was looking for), still rock solid. After playing awhile took it up and cut throttle and floated it down, took an extra lap around without throttle cause it kept on floating. This thing is about as smooth a ride as you can get - Second flight I used the pizza toss with same success, the thing just wants to fly. Thanks for adding the 60 to your fleet.Dan |

Sweet you are the first Dan to to fly the 60 it was a total beta , but I knew it would fly great.
Dan do you think I should add it to the roster for good? Dan send me your adress I am gona send you a 40 slice,One of my new designs that will fly on a mega 3 a cc 35 and 2100 to 3300 3s.It is a super slim version of a new 40.It should give smokin performance on dirt cheap drivetrain . Thnx for the flight report. ck |
