Yes or No. I'm an AMA Member (Park Pilot Program Included)
EDIT: If this is your first time to vote and you are not a member, can you please comment on what you think about the new Park Pilot Program the AMA has implemented? We'd love to hear your opinions on it. -Thanks!
This is an easy one. I've seen a good poll done by Eljimb0, but it is closed now and it was located in the Parkflyer forum. Question is easy. Yes or No to being an AMA member. If AMA is not available to you because you live outside of the US then please use the AMA not available if you feel the need to vote. It's just that easy. I have to be a member to use the park district flying field (Chicagoland area). Cheap insurance too...
I wish there was a E-flight category that was closer to $40-$50 per year for E aircraft under 5' wingspan. It only stands to logic that those who fly larger and more expensive aircraft should pay more per year. Honestly a 1/3 scale pattern pilot with $2-3K invested will value the membership more than the Super Cub pilot that flies on the weekend. |

Yes I am and have been since 1968. I even maintained my membership during the time I did not fly because of family and job priorities.

Life member would fit in the Yes, AMA member catagory. Its definitely not in the non-member catagory.

Nope, not a member.
Carry nationwide due to the H.R. 218, "The Law Enforcement Officer's Safety Act". I think I was a member for a year when I was 9 or 10 and flew control line. |
