I have found a cheaper Muscle Wire source in the UK

Go the the Technology section and search for "muscle wire" they have 100 and 150 um diameter for £7.50 per m

That is about half the price of the place on the Aeronutz site (i think)

It is a good site for other things too, my tech department at school use them

Thanks to Len for pointing out that Maplins also sell the larger sizes of MW
We are currently considering the smaller sizes, 025 and 035
Len says Maplins have thier MW in the sales
