Flying My Precision Aerobatics KMD!

Edit: Video removed to free up bandwidth for new videos. Here's a link to my KMD movie 2: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=672489

Here's a video of the 12th flight of my Katana MD. What a fun plane to fly!!

Setup:
- PA Thrust 30 motor
- Hyperion 30 Amp ESC (Will upgrade to PA 35 Amp ESC when available)
- APC 12x6E Prop (will upgrade to APC 13x6.5 when ESC is upgraded)
- Thunder Power 2100mAh Pro Lite battery
- Waypoint W-092MB servos all round (will upgrade rudder servo to PA's Bluebird servo for better centering).

I've only flown small 3D foamies previously so I'm still getting a feel for the larger size and balsa construction... Still too scared to hover right on the deck. Hopefully soon though.

The soundtrack is "Forever Young" by Youth Group. I love it so much I've used it before.

Nice Job on the video Cobull. I can tell your reason to be up there is only because you care a great deal for the plane. I didn't see you fall out of a hover any lower than where your rudder was hovering at so you would never have touched the ground. had you een down on the deck

Datman, that's hours of sim practice and pack after pack of stick time. He hasn't been at it for long btw, he'l say how lomg himself i don't remember myself.

Thanks for the compliments! It was October 2006 when I got my first real plane (Hobbyzone Super Cub), although for a couple months before that I was [flying?] a 2 channel Hobbyzone Firebird Commander 2, but I like to forget that time.
