I have aquired an old Graupner (I think) kit. It appears to be an ASW of some type. The wingspan is approx. 11foot 5 inches. I believe the kit to be somewhere around 20 years old. Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know but those are some OLD servo, Futaba F16s? F type connectors...At least 20 years old equipment. The plane could be a Discus. It is probably semi-scale. If it is 3.5m then it would not be a Graupner Discus. I know they had a 4m version.

Is this afiberglass fuse or some sort of plastic fuselage?

Mini Nimbus huh? Your's looks exactly like mine too. If I may ask what are your wing joiner rods made of as mine are missing. Also I wonder where I can find a three-view drawing as I have to scratch build the tail surfaces.

The wing pins are 146mm long 2each 5mm and 2each 6mm music or spring steel also i have the plans so get you a copy to make a tail Thanks Mr. Kite

Wonderful to see these old Classics coming back to life. Whilst not up to modern standards in terms of aeros they all fly well in a scale style. I have just 'regenerated' a Robbe ASW 19 from 1973 - its a delight to fly providing you recognize its limits. As a semi-scale (as they all were) and the wire rod wing joiners, they are elegant , and with modern equipment, i.e. a servo in each wing, fly from flat field or slope exactly as the designer intended, plus the standard of construction makes all but the most expensive these days look like crap.

Motor installed and carbon wing tubes in question. (Mr Kite I sent you a PM asking about this) How do I get the required dihedral with straight tubes?
Any suggestions?
