Hey hey hey... look whats coming for Xmas!

UK. release 19th Oct. U.S. Nov-Dec.

It will use the PS2 Dualshock controller in a Mode two format. Will also include playback, so you can watch your crashes... Flying from any angle and speed! COOOL.

Should keep us busy in the UK through the cold dark winter.

if it is about the same price as G2, then forget it.

wow, pretty cool. i wonder how realistic it will be. if it's at least on par with FMS, i'll buy it. playstation 2 games usually cost between 30 and 50 bucks.

did some research. it appears that a previous version of this game was released for the original Playstation in 1998. it got good reviews, but none of the reviews were by actual RC pilots of course.

I had the one for the ps1

I had the one for the ps. Yes it is just as hard as the fms. It was hard but with special task it was fun and did help my heli skills. You keep from getting board stiff. I am so exited about this for the ps2. It should be great. Some that can already fly may think it is to easy. But they do have 3d helis on it to like inverted and flips and stuff. I just like it because of the fun factor. Just my 2 cents Richard Spiegel

i wonder if they will dumb down the sequel to reach a wider audience. i hope not, but you know what happens when developers see dollar signs.

Here's the blurb:

Use points and awards gained in other modes to purchase any of nine real-life radio helicopters and outfit them with unique parts. An Obstacle Course of challenges waits in adventure mode. Fly through tranquil gardens, rushing rapids, and dangerous city skies.Compete in eight unique events such as Landing, Carry, and Hover in license mode. Become the Co-pilot in your own Adventure! Play RC Sports™ Copter Challenge™ as an ace RC Helicopter Pilot! Try and earn your license by competing in 4 different modes, spanning numerous locales. Spend points awarded to upgrade copter parts and buy new rigs. Tricks, points, manoeuvring, and obstacles will prove whether you're the RC Pilot Champion!

This game is called "LANDING ON A FLOATING PLATFORM BEFORE YOUR TIME RUNS OUT AND THE CROWD START THROWING BANANAS AT YOU" probably

It's released in the UK this Saturday, so I'm already their. Shame no Eco 8's or Logo's in it though.
