We need plans though Tram.

Here's a 28" version of Steve's original Su-37...
All the foam parts will fit on four 13x39" depron sheets (the wood parts aren't included in the plans). The main wing had to be cut differently from the original plans, but should be easy to figure out.

I had it printed locally for $6. Just cut to 13x39" and tack on with Super 77.

--- Whoah, the front piece is 2.5" short due to using 13" wide depron - I had to add on later, but it's not in the plans, make sure to account for this or you'll have snub-nose lookin' Su-37!!! Check scale against original plans to be sure!

I dont know if this has been up before but what do you think about running two GH2212-06 Brushless Motor V2 in the original size aircraft?

I'm now the proud owner of Craig's (cmala) old Flanker that he just mentioned and the current draw with the two GH2212-06 with 6x4 props is 36A/366W WOT. I'm thinking about putting 6x5.5 props on there to get the power up some. We'll see, I need to get that TV motor mount fixed first though.

Sorry - the first sets were saved @ 300 dpi (22-24MB) so never uploaded. I re-saved them @ 72 dpi... much smaller now.

I have a six channel radio. What is the recommended setup for this model using 6 channels?

1-Throttle
2-Elevon 1
3-Elevon 2
4-Rudder
5-TV 1
6-TV 2

I used four mixes to setup the TV.
1- Elevator+ -> TV1
2- Aileron+ -> TV1
3- Elevator- -> TV2
4- Aileron- -> TV1

I hope that makes sense.

hey guys i want to buy this plane because it looks so cool! i have a few questions.

is it and easy build? how long does it take and do you need artistic abilities to make it look as good as Jetsett44's?

is it hard to fly? what is a cheap slow setup for this plane?i would like thrust vectoring also.

any help?

No, it's not an easy or quick build with about 90 pieces of foam, laminating, heat forming, shaping and sanding. I had 60 or so hours in mine. You do need some artistic abilities (shaping, sanding, painting) to get it to look good. It's not hard to fly, but it's definitely not a beginner plane. My second one that I got from cmala has two Grayson 2212-06 motors and 30A ESCs...not "cheap" at $80, but still about half the cost of Steve's LSPJ setup. The servos are TowerPro/Hextronic ($5ea) and a couple of HS-81MG ($20ea).

Hobby Lobby sells the Free-Air Su-27 and the Artech. I don't know of any other arfs.

It's not an ARF, but here's a great flying, easier-to-build Su-37... this was my 2nd scratch build (3mm depron) and it flies great. I'm currently working on a 28" VT version of Steve's model... can't wait to fly her, knowing how well the Su-37 flies without VT!!!
