Your right, that paint scheme is a lot of work but you did a great job.

I believe that it looks nice but my favourites are still the Su from Vicentel and T3chdad. Since I thought that I cannot do such a nice print I took something else.

I'm happy to see all those nice comments now.

Ready to Fly

This one is still going strong after 4 seasons. I have the need to fly it again.
Just waiting for morning temps to get below 80 degrees...Heck, I would like to see temps below 90 degrees in the morning. Been one HOT August.

Here's a few pics from the second session. Thanks to Steve for his happy snapping. I think he captured the fast and slow characteristics perfectly. Flew a little inverted plus a few rolls and it seems I can take a bit of weight out of the nose, which is good news. Used 30% expo on all relevant channels which was pretty nice. So far soooooooooooooooooooo good!

I love that bird.

Next step is painting the engine section with several layers of metal and blue colour. I will try to sand them down to the perfect look.

Does anybody know the scale rate of this bird? 1:x ?

Shall I change the nose colour to red? Mmmh the horizontal line between red and white does not make me really happy on this bird.
All the SU's I have seen have a fully coloured nose.

Full on Wobisch! You have the patience of a mountain. Looks fantastic. The red nose will be easier to keep clean. And, as you can see from mine, I'm not exactly the right person to force authentic livery

Been a long time coming but have nearly got mine finished, but i have been waiting for my DX18 and now it has arrived i have been trying to program the TV to my control surfaces but to no avail. If anybody has the flanker with a DX18 could you explain how to set it up so i could use a switch to turn the TV on after my maiden flight .
