RC, how much experience you think would be required to fly this?
Would it fly slow enough for me to learn on as a second plane?

Thanks.

Edit: I just watched the "About" video, nice!

How would you set this up as a beginner plane? Not a total noobie,
but say a 2nd plane. Man that plane is so cool, I want to start the
build. I just a got a new DX6 radio.

Scott,
The BEST thing I can tell you is overtrain yourself on a simulator. Be an expert at every plane on the computer and you will be ready for just about anything.

I do most of my practice for new stunts on the sim. You'll save THOUSANDS in the long run.

I also like to make the plane on the sim out of trim and balance and windy etc so I learn to take control of an out of control aircraft.

Then what I would do is get a F-22 kit AND the "Foam Only Kit." Build your first F-22 real light with very little throws on it (don't have the elevator and ailerons move very much). Then make sure the balance is right and fly it as best as you can. It flies real easy and stable. If/when its finally too beat up to fly, transfer your parts over to the inexpensive foam kit and now you have a 2nd one.

This way you have one for practice and one for reals and keep it all under $40.

I have the DX6 also. When you get to that part I can help you program it for your ailerons.

Yes, they sure are. Mostly towards the end of this video:
"Instructions Part 9"
http://www.rcsuperpowers.com/videos/F-22inst_part9.wmv

And also in this video:
"Aerobatic Flight School"
http://www.rcsuperpowers.com/videos/...ightschool.wmv

Just take it one step at a time, you'll get it.

I fly my buddies G3. I use to have a G2 but I gave it to someone who needed it more than me, if ya know what I mean. My buddies G3 also has the vectoring thrust turbine Raptor on it! I practiced on that for months before I built the first prototype. It really does help a lot. Its like ridding a bike, ya just got to get those flight hours in.

Scott and Lt.Smash,
Thanks guys! Good to hear. Might as well over kill it and do it right the first time right? Keeps people happy and my email free. Best off all it gets guys in the air which is what we ALL want!

I also found that more people will buy something online if they can virtually "see it" and "hold it" ya know? Show me what I am really buying here.

HACK IS BACK! What's up dude?! Good to hear form you again. Your order just went out.
