The construction does look lighter than some of their previous offerings. Wish they would have scaled it up a bit more for the power 15.

It looks good-kind of like if they had made the Seagull Extra a little nicer on the eyes. If the Seagull goes down this could be a good replacement. They really are cranking them out. A brand new plane doesn't have a long shelf life as the next must have anymore.

Well--- this saves me from buying the fliton one!

And I think I just figured out what those servos I bought the other night will go in----if it flys anything like the minfunX we'll all be happy campers!

I have been very impressed with the E-Flite construction quality and the ease of assembly with their models. I like the price of this one as well.

Here is a comparison with the Seagull Extra 300:

Extra 260:

Wing Span: 43 in (1090mm)
Overall Length: 40 in (1015mm)
Wing Area: 375 sq in (24.2 sq dm)
Flying Weight: 2629 oz (740820 g)
Motor Size: Park 480 BL Outrunner
Radio: 6 channels or more for proper mixing
Prop Size: 12x6 Electric

Extra 300:

Wing Span: 43 in (109 cm)
Overall Length: 38.4 in (97.5cm)
Wing Area: 367 sq in (23.7 sq dm)
Flying Weight: 28-32 oz (792-905 g)
Motor Size: Park 450 to Park 480 Outrunner
Radio: 4 channel with 4 sub-micro servos
Prop Size: 10x4.7 electric Recommended w/480 outrunner

They look extremely close in size and dimensions.

^^^We should compare the Extra based on what people are actually using with good results. Motor:E-Flite 480
Prop: 12x6 Electric

What are the differences between a 260 and 300? It looks like the 260 has a larger fuse.

I'm using a Hacker A30-16M and APC 12x6 on my Extra 300 with fantastic results.

They all just keep trying to one up one another, but thats ok with me. I am almost out of hanger space. I am getting good at switching all of my radio gear.

im looing back and forth at the fliton 260 and the eflite 260 and wonder if they might be the same beast...... might just be a cheaper hardware pack between the two on the eflites side. ya know horizon is dealing the fliton line......

They're not the same planes. For one you can see that the ailerons on the Fliton are the full width of the wings, when the Eflite's aren't.
