Reflex body mod (updated cx2-inspired body)

This is the second version of my blade-inspired body. I made several changes for make it look more like the cx2. I lengthened the nose, redesigned the tail, added the small winglets and cowling above the canopy. It has proven to be very crashworthy. I crashed it dozens of times with no damage. It crashes in the video and recovers with no problem. Even if it does get wrecked I can always print out another one!

Flight video with crash:

Full-Size Cutout Template and Folding/Taping Guides are below (.pdf files)
NOTE: Don't forget to cut out the triangular holes in the tail and fin. They are necessary for turning performance.

Thanks! I had to take mine apart so I figured why not try this body on it. I was low on color ink so I just printed it in black and white. I thought about printing it on a piece of plastic for overhead projectors, but that might be heavier.

I have tried this, but it is really confusing. When you cut the body out, do you fold it anywhere, help would be nice right now. Thx. =)

looks pretty sweet!! on mine a real tail section helped keep it way more stable, and with the lipo moved forward, it would crawl forward nice and slow, and was steady with short busrts of the thrusters.... i never put the body back on though

Did you just make it out of reglar paper then? Because I want to make one but I also don't want to burn the house down (or at least wreck my heli. )

I made it from some kind of photo paper. It wasnt the paper that burnt it down though. One of the pusher motors seemed kind of weak from the beginning, but i guess that i pushed it too hard and it began smoking.
