yeah thats for sure the build is so different then any other build i've done (foam, balsa, tapie). it is fun. this time it will be better then my demon. there were a few things i messed up that i had to fix or get used to like my batt door the coro is a bit sunk in more then my liking and i used a scrap of epp to help hold it up against the batts.

Pic's of my wings I have finished

Here are my 3 wings, I have 2 more to finish.

Pink is the RiteWing Demon
Plum is the RiteWing TL50 Video
Purple/Green is my own wing made from BlueCore called "SpLaT" Video
if it goes "SpLaT" I lost $2 of foam, that is if the electronics live...

Hey... I got out of my Slacka Mood....

Some pics of what I have done on the Demon with an outrunner motor mount.

For anyone that would like to mount an outrunner in a wing....
Vinnie @ JustGoFly.com has a new 2" T Bracket motor mount that works Great for a wing.
Keeps the motor in the center line of thrust. I got a few to try out.
So far they look like they will work just fine... very solid mount.
I did drill holes for an AXI style mount to be used when I install my motor.
It is easier to get it mounted that way with 256 size screws.

Oh Yeah.... Before you ask what the square holes in the electronics bay is for.
They are air scoop holes, inlet and outlet. I have made 2 plastic scoops to be glued in later.

I just want to fly my TL like you do. I'm still flyin' real cautious. I get the TL so high that I can barely see it! I plan on doing alot of flying this weekend in hopes of getting "up to speed" No TL is supposed to go as slow as mine is!

Funny thing is , the first few times I have had my Demon up I felt like a first day flyer...
Boy is it different than the TL. More speed and more responsive to my input.
But i can say the more I fly it the better it gets... Only half as nervous now LOL

had an awesome flight with my demon today. i decided that 8oz's was alot on my batteries so i moved my cg back to 7.75 and dumped 5.25 oz!!!!

it was windy here today gusts in the 30's and even with the wind the plane was so much different.

its amazing how slow my demon can fly STRAIGHT. i noticed comin in for landings that i keep some speed in her till i'm set straight and it will mush in and just start to get tipsy and by that time its down.

Did manage to take a wing tip off nailin the curb., but EH, could be worse.

Glad to hear it all went pretty good for you.

I know what you mean on the way it handles.... This plane is meant to be flown faster. I had been flying the TL which is very different , it will slow down more. I noticed if I slow to much with my Demon in the turn it does wobble which lets me know I am to slow. But thats nothing a little throttle can't fix.

When flown as it is designed to be ,the Demon flys like it is really on rails as they say. It will go where you put it, at a lot higher speeds than the TL.
