4.5 ah Nimh 4.8v pack discharge rate

I've got two 4.5 ah 4.8v Nimh packs that I want to check. What is a good discharge rate to check the capacity? I've got a Triton to discharge them with but I need to know the best discharge rate to check these out.

Some manufacturers use 0.2C when establishing capacity, but that would take forever and I suspect the Triton has a timeout feature. I would discharge at 1C, but I believe the Triton has a 3 Amp discharge limit, so I would go for the 3 Amps.

Anybody else have any thoughts? I discharged them at 1.5A but they only I only got about 1000 mah out of them before they hit 4.4v. Do you discharge Nimh down to 0.9v per cell?

Sanyo uses 1.0 volts per cell for the end voltage.
Sanyo says 100% capacity when discharged at 0.2C, ~95% at 1C, ~85% at 3C.

In order to compare to factory specs, discharge at 0.2C to 0.25C down to 0.9 volt/cell. If you discharge at a higher rate or to a higher low-end voltage, you will get a lesser value for the mah.
