Get some music wire the same diameter as what is supplied in the kit and bend a new set. If you're worried it won't be stiff enough, then run a second wire similar to a Sig J-3 (older 72" version) soldering it near the axle, and strap it to the bottom of the fuselage - this would make a very rugged and lightweight gear for the Sr. Also make sure you maintain prop clearance when it's up on the main gear. when you make your new gear.

landing gear

I suppose I could do that,But I don't think I could do a good job of making one.So is there a place like Tower that would have something that would fit the sig. Ready made...I have been looking at several online stores and they don't have measurements on some of there landing gears.I would most likely buy one and it be the wrong size.Thats my problem...

A sig 4 star 40 landing gear works very well. Use the 4 star 60 if you're using longer props.....

I like the first one best, but the other one is good too.

Check out www.dubro.com. They make a composite gear that I use all the time on planes up to 60 size. My book shows the measurements and I think the web site does also. ENJOY !!! RED

Landing Gear

After looking at the original wire gear that came with the kit.
I was looking at the installation wrong.Which gave me a 22"
wheel base.So here I'm looking for a 22" wheel base,when
I should be looking for a 14" wheel base.I didn't have the wire
running side by side under the fuse.
Thankyou everyone for helping me,now I have a lot to choose from.
