Question
Flying in the Sydney area this weekend

Where are people going flying this weekend around Sydney?

I'm scouting around for some company to go flying out Mount Annan way. There's the slope for powerless flying, and plenty of open paddock for electric. Unfortunately, to keep the locals happy and to retain the site, no glo stuff.

What's on in the North, West and East?

Up north:

I'll be maidening my groovy (pattern glo) at the field tomorrow (today).

If they call them arf's, why does it take me so damn long to put together! 1Am and it's finally ready......I think!

big power from an os61fx in a 46 size frame, should be fun! Thanks to Beans07 for the bargain on the os. Runs like a clock so far.

If all goes well today, I'll be flying it on saturday as well. If not, well, I'll find something else in the shed to fly!

Here is a link to show where the Mount Annan site is:

http://www.whereis.com/whereis/confi...f=homePlaceMap

Drag the map from left to right until you see William Howe Reserve.

Click on the photo icon to get an AP view of the site.

This photo was taken early last spring, going on the state of the works around the dam.

I'll try to get to Mt Annan Sat PM. Family commitments to be avoided.

Family reunion (one of many held through the year) in Camden... planning to steal away Sat PM for a fly with you good gentlemen.

Still scratching head RE what to bring. I need me one of them powered vector wings to slope / fly in still and breezy conditions.

I will tell uncle Earle to engage you in conversation for the entire weekend. No free time for Graham.

I caught up with a couple of guys by accident at Malabar two Saturdays ago, who swear they are there every Saturday at 7.30am (though not last).

I'll be back at Malabar from 7.00am till 8.00am before work on Saturday with my E-Go Cessna if anyone is interested.

Jon.

Saturday afternoon: Storm arrives at Mount Annan about 2:30. That's why I'm sitting her posting.

I dont know whats wrong with you guys .

I ended up flying this afternoon at Mirambeena Regional Park in Lansdowne right up till it rained. It was a race to see what got to the ground first, my Cessna or the rain...I won....just.

wimps! FredL,Mothman and I were at Otford, flying in thick fog (down to less than 50ft visibility), and at times heavy rain.

Today looks a lot better thankfully!
