Help!
Building a Millennium Falcon

Is there anybody out there who has built one of these electric powered gliders kitted by New Creations? I need a little help with rudder construction and how to
and what is needed to install/set up the elevator control.
What about ading CF to the fuse in key areas. Wing attachment mods, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks JohnZ

That is an oldie but goodie. State of the art in its day if I recall. If I recall correctly there was a review of that plane on RC Groups some time ago. It may still be available in the Archives. I did print it at one point because I really wanted one but never got one. If my copy can be found it's yours for the asking.

My copy is no more but the review is still available in the 1998 archives

Call Kirk Massey at New Creations RC. He kitted that plane and I'm sure that he would help with any questions you have. A very good and knowledgeable person to deal with. Tell him Dewey from Phoenix told you to call. Watch out though, he might either laugh or hang up on you. Seriously, I've been doing business with him for about seven years and he will always take time to help out and give you some tips and info for what youre doing.

Hope this helps.

I competed with one for a few years and won some trophies at the NATs. Back then the hot setup was an Astro 05FAI pulling about 50A. I was one of the first to switch to an Aveox at about 70-80A and out climbed everyone for a while.

I bought the fuse only and scratch built the rest. I used contest grade balsa and the total weight was about 55oz. My rudder was side hinged with the servo in the fin. I don't remember how I attached the wing.

If you don't mind, I'd like some basic dimensions of the fuse. I'd maybe make a mold some day of something similar.

Here's a magazine clip from a few years ago of me with the MF and scanned instruction sheets.
