EasyStar #2 first flight
My EasyStar #1 was destroyed last week in a fatal crash... so I did the next logical thing: build EasyStar #2
This is a video of the first flight. You can see that the plane turns to the right, even though all control surfaces were neutral.
The plane has a Mega 16/15/4 motor with a 6x4 prop. This is lots of power ! On takeoff I only did put 50% throttle (which corresponds to about 30% of RPMs). This was enough to get a nice climb. Only when the plane was high that I tried full power, which caused a lot of gliches Don't know why.
