Looks like the others, suspect it's the same plane.
Still waiting for news, from Hobby Lobby and if it is available without the radio.
Looks nice, doesn't it?

Sure does Don! Just don't need another Xmiter, batt and cheap receiver. Plane, motor and servos would be ok if sold as such.

As far as I can tell, the Gordo and the Sig Eable are both made in the same factory in China. They are the same plane, not just similar. Depending on the revision, and the customers requests they might include slightly different accessories. I know that the Sea Capitan doesn't seem to come with a water rudder...

Anyway, I've shot some video of the plane and put it up on my new website (not finished yet) But I've got the Gordos in stock on the FoamFly.com site.

I had some difficulty on the water landings. I was landing downwind and almost hit the dock, so I dumped it in. Still, it's the only water footage I've got, so there it is. (The water stuff is new, so it's in DivX .avi format, you'll need the DivX or XviD codec to play it)

Speaking of the Sig Eagle. I noticed that the Sig is selling for exactly the same price as the Gordo, but doesn't include the receiver or transmitter. So, even if you don't use them, you don't lose anything. I've been flying my Gordo on the stock transmitter in order to accurately test what comes with it, but I'm going to switch to my Eclipse 7 once I clear out a model memory. Either way, I'll probably keep using the "free" receiver that came with it.

The Gordo is the Sig Eagle, they also removed original stickers and replaced with the different one, I have a Gordo and I can see the old Sig Eagle adesive trace on the foam.

I made a single flight and landed with engine almost unscrewed, the propeller cut a part of my tail too. Looks like they didn't use any thread locker on the motor mount..

It's nice to see, long take off, good flight, good power, fast landing needed, but it's not well built.

is not difficult to fly but not a beginner plane, just don't fly it slow when you're low... it lands fast and it has no rudder authority on take off. Make some flase take off before the real one to learn the strong tendency to change its heading.
