About your prop saver--should the shaft go all the way through the prop? In my case the prop is so tight with the shaft that even with bands there is no side to side sway, somewhat defeating the purpose of them.

yes , cut the shaft so the prop will fold over even off of the propsaver
also i ve broken 3 props while using propsavers in 2 years time,i fly with no landing gear
also the 2 gws props broke on the 3rd or 4 hit the apc props are thicker and last way longer

Yeah I need to cut the thread off the axles on the landing gear too. I'll post more pics this evening, took some sharpie markers and dressed her up a bit.

The wind finally quit blowing, the wife cut me off on beer's when I told her we could break out the spotlight and "FLY THIS BIRD!!" What's funny is if she would do it I would try it. Will see what the wind's like in the morning.
