HS 81 Servo on 6 Volt dangerous?
TO: Hitec people
What is your comment on the following posting? "I do know for sure from personal experience that running HS-81 servos (which are also rated only at 4.8 volts ) on a 6 volt pack will kill them. I lost 3 HS-81 servos in my first Nemesis with a 6 volt pack intalled before I figured out what was happening." |

Thanks for reassurance. I am using 5-cell with HS81 and became alarmed after reading the above post. |

Hi John,
We recommend 4.8v-6.0 volt on all Hitec servos. If your killing them you might want to change to another servo? http://hitecrcd.com/Servos/Servomanual.pdf |
