Power Supply 12 volt 19 Amp **NEW**

Power Supply 12v 19 Amps For Charger Brand New! These are New 350 watt power supplies that have been converted to power your charger. They have a 19 amp output. PC power supplies are a favorite choice for clean quiet reliable and cheap way to power your 12 volt DC charger. What makes this power supply different than all the others is that it has an adjustable 12 volt output. I set this at 13.5 volts to compensate for the voltage sag under load. Most power supplies when put under a heavy load drop voltage to below 10.5 volts which is where most chargers will shut down. Simply plug it into the wall and connect the + and - leads to your charger and your ready. They also have short protection. I have been using these on my chargers for years and they work great! You would normally pay $60 to $100 for a unit of this amperage. Alligator clips come installed. I can install a connector of your choice too. Or I can install binding post on top of the unit. Let me know if you want connectors and I'll let you know what the extra cost will be. All units are guaranteed for 60 days! Check my feedback lots of people have bought these and have been very happy. $35.00 plus $8.00 Shipping. Power cord included. Paypal please. doakb@tx.rr.com
PM me if you want one. I have several.

..looks to be about 18 gauge doesn't it..?
Still, that would carry 5 amps easily, which most chargers don't draw. Be better to run 16 gauge, less chance of the wire warming up.

Oops, whats this..19 amp output, well you want to upgrade that wire to 14 gauge then. Few chargers require that kind of output...but you could run TWO chargers from this supply, each drawing say eight amps through 16 gauge leads.

The wire is 18ga and is fine for most chargers. I have sold fifty or more set up like you see in the photo with no problems. If you want more wire I can double or triple the leads to suit your needs.

Have these been tested on an Astro 109? Will they handle the 109 at a full 9 amp charge? If not, how many amps can the 109 be pushed to while charging with this power supply?

power supply

What battery are you charging at nine amps? I don't own an astro 109 but I have used two triton chargers charging at 5 amps each with no problem.

I'll be charging a pair of 5S 5000 mah packs in parallel. In actuality, I usually only let them charge at about 8 amps, just to be safe, but right now, I have to use my truck's battery to charge them like this. I would like to be able to charge these packs indoors with the rest of my chargers. I've built a few of my own PC Power Supplies for chargers, but none have been able to stand up to the Astro, but none have had the adjustable voltage pot.

You'd be pulling at least 14A when charging a 5s pack at 8A at the end of the charge if the input voltage from the power supply is 12V.

So the question I need to ask is.. Will this power supply hold 12 volts at a 14 amp draw.

Well I can only say from experience I know it will do 10 amps. You can try it I think it will work. If it doesn't I will give you a full refund including shipping. It's a no risk deal. I gauarantee all my units.

The fact that your willing to stand behind them speaks very highly of both you and the powersupply.
