"Dang James, sorry to here the "other" business is doing so well. LOL

I'm still waiting for the Triple X sized SSX to come along. Hmmmm, may just have to scale up one of your kits on my own.

J,
I just wanted to complement the quality of your ARF's. This morning I was at a local "Pirate" flying field. There were 3 or 4 planes in the air, and the owner of the local hobby shop flew his balsa box stick. Right in front of my SSX. I was at full throttle in a nice straight line(450motor 10x7sp),and Wham we had a dead on mid air. His wing ripped off, and a large section of the fuselage was damaged. My SSX just kept flying. As a matter of fact it felt so good I flew out my pack. when I landed it I didn't even notice the minor damage to the underside of the wing untill I got home. the balsa is fine.
He came over and admitted this is his 3rd midair with that plane. He was also impressed with the ssx. so I flew my mini biplane for him.

That is great. Make sure you inspect the entire spar for cracks. this one could come back to bite you later.

I checked it over. everything looks great! I only found one small crack in one of the ribs.

J, What kind of covering material would best match the stock stuff? I was hopeing to just fix that spot. Thanks, Tim

Edge5foamy,
I Have the same bull dog in your picture. What a fun 3d plane. I pulled my first hover with that plane.
I saw you also have the PA260 edge. I almost got one,but I went with the 3DH 47" SHP extra. Are the PA planes as tough as theay say? If you dont mind P.M. me.

The covering is World Models Lightex. You can buy it from AB. I would sell you a small amount but I need to order it also.
