What would make my heli hover lopsided??

I have a strange problem!

I recently replaced all the electronics on a Walker 22E (please don't run away!) with separates. Everything went fine..got it dialed in then yesterday when I flew it appears that the heli hovers lopsided to the right.
When I hover at eye level the blades ore really leaning right as is the whole heli!

I took the head apart and checked the main shaft, checked the tracking, flybar is straight, the frame is good, no flexing, checked the linkage lengths...all good.

I am really stumped!!

Any ideas?? I can shoot some vid if it is going to help.

It's normal, don't worry about it. It's off-setting the thrust the tail is putting out to stop the heli from torque-ing around.

Hmmmm...it never did that before I switched to seperates though. It looks really strange and I think it is not optimal for the power system Sounds like the heli is straining all the time and my flight times are down.

I also have to give constant right rudder even at full right rudder trim so the tail thrust is clearly not enough.

Too much pitch are on the main blades. You need to take out some of the pitch so that the head speed will come up some. Basically you're creating too much drag. The more drag on the main blades the more the tail has to put out to offset the torque. This causes the heli to lean more to the right to offset the tail push.

Your gyro will be able to compensate better too (the right-rudder bit), because you'll maintain a more constant headspeed.

WOOHOOOOOO!!

Success!! Thanks so much guys! I reduced the pitch and fooled around with the pitch curves in the tx. No more leaning to the right and WAY better gyro behavior.
I had the best flight so far with seperates.

I LOVE HELI"S!!!!!! LOL!!!

Do you have a pitch gauge? If not, get one...you're better off leaving your pitch curves fairly standard as you go from heli to heli, and adjusting everything mechanically perfect to avoid weird mixing interactions.
