I am so tempted ... but will have to wait for my LHS to get them. They were very fast in getting the P-38 so I'm not too worried. Besides, my build queue it getting longer and longer.
Mr. Lin, nice work on the 190! I'm glad you rejected the softer foam. I'm sure we'd all rather see the delay than get a poor quality plane. Keep up the good work! |

Hello!
shipping costs are 35,2$ for FRANCE, it seems a lot compared to the price of the plane, but in a few month when the kit will be available in our french shop, I estimate it will cost at least 60euros + 10euros shipping (70euros = more than 90$) so I think I will order one from early bird!!! Very nice! Man, did you see the size of those paddles on the nose? Man those were some WIDE blades.
At the end he says something like: "As you can see, the flyer flew. And how!" I guess that must have been the first flight after a restoration project. Pat |

We should start Early programe for FW190 now.
The kit already arrive in Taiwan to go!  GWS RD Tommy had painted FW190!

Hi Denial,
There have been two kinds of propellers tested on this airplane. EP9050-3-blade + GWBLM005 4600kv + EPS-A gear + 3S 11.1V 10C 2200mah Lipo +ESC25A. This drew 18 amps. EP1060 - 2-blade + GWBLM005 4600kv + EPS -C gear + 3S 11.1V 10C 2200 mah LiPo + ESC25A. This drew 14A amps. Hope these would be helpful. Chen |

I have received an earlybird e-mail from Joyce. I had told her I wanted to order the S/G version but she says they only have stock of the NPS in white. Will someone from GWS please tell me what I get for the extra $5? I think its only the l/g - which I don't want - so if that's the case it looks like I'm going to have to wait. I'm not especially happy at paying full retail for an ex-factory unit anyway and I'm sure not going to pay extra for something I don't want. Looks like someone needs to take a commercial decision here?

Hi Roger,
I'm afraid that all of FW-190 kits here now in Taiwan are all in NPS version. The extra US$5 would be for the landing gears including wheels. Chen |

Hi there all.

Recently returned from the jaws of death - well....nearly Regarding this discussion, it is trrue that Germany forbids anyone from displaying a swastika. However, Revell [Germany] have found a way round this in their plastic kits. They simply divide the swastika in two, separate the parts on the decal sheet and Hey Presto! Turning to the excellent video of the 190 referenced in another thread. I suspect this is the half-scale model that used to fly. I first saw it as we were entering an airfield for an Air Display in the late 60's/early 70's. It was going through its paces before the display started. I was told it was a half-scale but would not be participating in the flying section. Haven't seen it since. Has it been renovated and was it making a "maiden" flight? It certainly was not a full size plane. I have ordered my 262 and will visit my LHS tomorrow when I will order my Butcher Bird. Still slogging away with the Ryan Hellcat. Can't start flying yet. Weather bloody awful with Force 4 - 7 winds. BTW Mr. Lin. There was a Chinese Kite Flying display in the local park yesterday to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Took some pix but guess what???.
