Cowl: I totally reworked engine mounting. I can take some pics later... Shortening the cowling is easy, just cut it to lenght of your liking. But shortening cowl needs engine mount redone too.. at least mine did because I shortened it by almost 3cm (over an inch)
Spinner: spinner cap is from parkzone fw. I took 2mm ply circle and sanded it near to right diameter using lathe (dremel) Then I glued a piece of blue foam onto it. After glueing I used dremel again and sanded the whole piece to the right diameter. Then I used light glassfibre and rolled it around the piece I made like toilet paper.. maybe 3-4 times and added 30min epoxy diluted with alcohol between each layer. I added baby powder into the epoxy mix and topped the whole thing with that crap. 24 h later I cut the piece into exact lenght and used lathe (dremel again) to sand it smooth. Then I removed almost all blue foam from inside to make room for 8b sized hub. Then I made 3 holes 120 degrees interval to accommodate blades. The I added one balsa disc which diameter was 2mm less than spinner base on the top of spinner base so that way the spinner cap would be aligned with it. Spinner cap is held in place with a one screw on the top of the spinner, connecting with 8b hub. I hope you catch the idea.. |

Ok, another shot..
I did a lil' to the wing.. I think I may just leave it and go flying.. I need to order a Parkzone spinner and pilot and I'll be set.. ![]() Mr. Lin - Why can't you produce a scale spinner and pilots for these planes???? Look how many of YOUR 190's are flying with PARKZONE spinners? |

You're right. I've been through about five PZ spinners. PZ has made more money off my 190 than GWS. Another improvement that GWS could make to this plane is to include a plastic part that covers maybe the outermost one inch of the wings. I guess it's just my poor pilot skills, but after about 100 landings, the wing tips on my 190 are showing a little wear.
