Nice work Vintage1.

When you say "traced" can you explain what is involved and what software is required as it looks like a useful facility to have.

I think the initials mean -

APS - Aeromodeller Plans Service
NGA - National Guild of Aeromodellers
ABA - Association of British Aeromodellers
Vola Cum Cura - Fly with care.

Corel draw.

Import the bitmaps and spend hours going over the images with a line drawing.

Photoshop is the one for Macintoshes IIRC..

I'll have to scan and send up my 1941 AMA Nationals emblems.
maybe even take a photo of the" Wheat Memorial Trophy" my Dad won for Class "C" gas free flight at the 41 Nationals and it was presented to him by Roscoe Turner, theee Colonel Roscoe Turner.
Used a Carl Goldberg "Zipper" to win.

Hi Vintage!
When I get a chance, I'll also scan the decals for the Carl Goldberg original (1940's -early 50's Sailplane kit I bought on Ebay!
It came complete with TWO sets of COMPLETE original plans and a letter written and signed by Carl Goldberg, and sent to the original purchaser of the kit in 1951.
Letter is dated May 4th, 1951, sent with three cents US postage no less!
Original kit price was $5.95
Also included were TWO "Sailplane" decals.

Here's a set of original Carl Goldberg sailplane decals which were included in an original Carl Goldberg Sailplane kit I purchased on Ebay. Also included was a letter from Carl Goldberg to the original kit owner discussing the "CG" location for the
Sailplane.
If I told you guys I got all of this for a song, you'd laugh!!!
I payed $76.00 US for all of this, and the kit is 100% complete with TWO sets of ORIGINAL plans!!!
Also notice the phone number at the top right hand side of the letterhead.
What a piece of NOSTALGIA!!!!
This kit is in the ORIGINAL BOX!!!

A few more pieces of Vintage nostalgia

Hi guys, a few more pieces of Vintage Nostalgia to share with you.
A picture of the 1941 Wheat Memorial Trophy for 2nd place in Class "C" Gas Free Flight awarded to my Dad at the awards dinner.
Presented to my Dad by the famous Colonel Roscoe Turner along with a check of $75.00 prize money.
The 1941 Nationals were held at Chicago Ilinois, in September .
Won with a Carl Goldberg Zipper.
Also is a picture of the Zipper kit box, also a Vintage Carl Goldberg Sailplane kit with original box I won on Ebay recently.

Notice the ORIGINAL PRICE on these kits when they were new!!!!

And car gasoline was about 12 cents a gallon also!
