Keil Kraft logos. When printing the gold one I had a lot of problems with the colours bleeding into one another

While I'm on a roll I may as well chuck in Cox. I have O&R decals somewhere and Megows and will chuck them up when I find them.

Jim Walker Fireball.

Incidentally, if you feel any of these breach copywrite please ditch them or let me know and I will remove them. Given they aren't being used commercially I figure it should be ok but one never knows.

Ohlsson and Rice, pretty sure I have the genuine item nowdays and will scan them if I find them. There was a smaller version that didn't have the word "Powered" under it too. No idea of the timeline sorry.

You can just make out a comma after Grove and based on the space, it must have had an abbreviation for Pennsylvania there.

I don't believe the current post office scheme was in effect in 1957. Currently we would use PA as an abbreviation.

Back then we used to abbreviate it Pa.

So it's probably either of these:

Willow Grove, Pa.
Willow Grove, PA

Or something completely different! I'll try to determine if PA was use that far back, but it would be better, of course, if someone has a photo or original of that artwork.

I thought something belonged in there, buit had no idae where Willow Grove was..

Great scans BTW - I haven't looked in here recently..I will have a crack at tracing some of these when I get a chance. The Frog looks fun, also the O&R..and the SMAE..

Anyway, hows this look?

Paa

I have an 50's book which has a lot of insignia in it including an old PAA logo. Did you end up getting one? I have a scan at home, pretty low quality though and it would be worth tracing over.

A few summers ago, 50 actually, I built a Veco Commanche and a Peter Pan to fly in the America and Jet PAAload classes at the 1957 Nationals in Willow Grove, PA. The Peter Pan was designed by Dallas Sherman and published in the June 1956 Flying Models. I didn’t do very well at the Nats, but I had one grand experience. Being at an event where all classes and everyone you’ve ever seen and worshipped in the mags shared the same work hanger was awesome! I joined AMA as a junior and was and am very proud of my 2825 license number.

Anyhow, 50 years later, I am building another Commanche, original size, but his time with electric power and 3 channel micro RC. I’m also building another Peter Pan, but 1.5 original size, GWS fan with a Fiego brushless motor, and 4 channel micro RC, ailerons and rudder/elevator mixing on the vee tail. I need the above scans so I can recreate my wonderful summer projects from 50 years ago.

Thanks to all.
