가입인사 통합/New Thread for Member Introduction
모든 가입인사는 이 글줄에 통합했읍니다.
Computer 가 글을 다시 날자 순서로 나열해서, 순서가 뒤죽박죽이 된 감이 있읍니다. All new member introductions are now moved to this thread. Computer has arranged all posts according to the date which impaired continuity of contents in the thread. Sorry for inconvenience. Last edited by John Kim; Oct 20, 2005 at 06:49 PM. |

Hi everybody!
I`m very glad to meet you nice guys here. My name is Youngseok Shin, live in Daegu, SouthKorea. I like fast things in the air especially F5D, F5B and nowadays I began to fly some of DS planes. We, who live in SouthKorea, can enjoy DSing only in winter because there`s not much nice wind that you have at your country. I started DSing only a few month ago, but I think I can do it nicely, And I hope so.^^* Anyway, I hope this Korean Groups flourish!!!! ID: Runsthroughit Location: Daegu SouthKorea Years of flying RC and start year: 4 years Area of your interest: F5D, F5B, Slope & DS Pictures welcome Last edited by Runsthroughit; Oct 22, 2005 at 11:41 AM. |

Runsthroughit,
I moved your story of flying at Mt. Hwang Kum to the thread titled "황금산 풍경/Gold Mt in Korea", which is more appropriate place to post than this Member Introduction forum. Also other chit chat we had on F5B made in Korea was moved "Chit Chat" sub forum thread. Some viewers did not like chit chat and other subjects posted under Member Introduction forum. |

Hi all,
I joined RCGroups a few months ago when I got into R/C planes. Now I'm happy to introduce myself here on the Korean forum. I'm a Canadian guy teaching English in Daegu. I speak very little Korean so I'll be posting in English. I just returned to Korea after hanging out back home in Canada for the summer, where I got addicted to R/C flying. Now I've had the incredible luck to meet the local slope soarers and just returned from my first trip to Hwanggeum-san. There was no wind, but I can tell that this is an amazing location. Luckily I brought my slow flyer (ParkZone Slo-V with brushless/LiPo setup) and this was my first flying since arriving in S. Korea a few weeks ago. Thanks, Albatross club, for welcoming me with open arms. I wanted to learn slope soaring even before I knew about Hwanggeum-san and the local flyers. I think I'm going to have some pretty good weekends this winter ![]() At Hwanggeum-san yesterday, I took some aerial video (with a CVS camcorder - if you want to know more about this camera, search for "CVS" in the Aerial Photography forum). I will post the video separately in this forum. Thanks again guys. planebane |

one more korean here.....
Hello all
Glad to see this thread... here is my two cents worth... Name: David Shin Location: Los Angeles, CA I started with Freeflight about 24 years ago at the age of 10. I built my first scratch built model which looked much like what is now know as a GWS slowstick. From that point on there was no stopping my obsession. I started with thermal gliders, then went to Gas trainers, then back to gliders but on the Slope, then now... into electric foamies... And now..... I manufacture my own designs and invented some unique functions and designs which will be soon in my future products... Currently I am concentrating on the first released product: Nanoshark and Babyshark. to learn more go to: www.nanoplanes.net |

Planebane,
We welcome you to our Korean Club. I am sure you will get a plenty of help from Hwang Kum San guys. You are the second Canadian member. We have another member, ID: purple_car, who is a Canadian and also English teacher in Seoul. If you are interested in aerial photography, we have an expert in the field. His ID: askman; a Korean American living in Oregon state. Hope you will enjoy flying and make many friends while in Korea. |

hi John Kim
Happy New year !! I'm planning to fly one of my planes on/near the one block east from Wiltern theatre (Western + Wilshire) at midnight pulling a lighted banner saying "Nanoplanes.net wishes you a Happy New Year!2006" If I was a better Pilot I would fly all up and down Wilshire with that sign.... anyone want to help me do this? I would have to say probably no one... I guess you can tell I have no life.... hehe. j/k I just work too much trying to stay in business. David@nanoplanes.net ..Nanoplanes.net |
