bronco

I just read your Bronco OV-10 thread it was really good but I see it is a couple of years old and you may not be interested in discussion
I just finished a nitro ov-10 and have not flown it yet
I am at Rancho Murieta and waiting for some good weather.

If this one flys good I may try another with retracts.
I am using 2-480 motors
2 40a ESC
2 Lipo 2200 batteries
2 GWS 3 balde props
WT is 4.25 lbs

Bronco gear door.

I have followed your threads on the Bronco
I am building my 2nd one with retracts
I am using the electric retracts and find that the wheel well needs to be a lot bigger then the spring airs that you used
My next big problem was the doors for the nose gear....I got a good start and made the mistake of using CA glue on the hinges....of course that stuck the hinge(s) together.
I found that the nacelle wheels won't recess fully into the body so no doors there.
I watched your video and it looks good....My building tallent is not the greatest but I muddle through.
My existing Bronco (camo) flys like a dream with the 3 blade props (counter rotating) and big motors....First flight and did not need a lick of trim

Any way keep up the good posts

I have been away from RCG for awhile. I am glad you liked the Bronco thread. If you are ever in Vacaville on a Sat or Sun, come fly with us at Lagoon Valley Park.

Cheers,
