Front Rangers: Special Bulletin

Homies, Pilots and Wankers-
Looks like we'll will likely get some nice dry upslope, NE to E winds, for the later afternoon (2pm) and, it's Friday!!!! I recommend we RIP IT UP at the slope till frozen stiff, goop on you wing tip NOW if you have not allready, the tape will not hold, I promise. Then we can hang out, talk some trash and have some beers at Woody's!
Be prepared for the cold and, you'll be fine. I've been using windstopper gloves, baclava, a PHAT down jacket and, I've been happy as a clam especially when flying from the road cut rotor like I think we'll be seeing TODAY!
This MAY WELL BE THE ONLY SLOPING THIS WEEKEND unless you're a Polar Bear!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong...but Mickey says it is Thursday...

I would love to come join you guys, but I still have nothing to fly, and have been WAY to lazy to spend lots of time building lately. Hopefully this weekend (if I don't work) I can put something together. Since it will be to damn cold to do anything else.

So Happy It's Thursday !

Wish I could, but I can't. If only my wife would start earning enough money to keep me in that lifestyle to which I would like to become accustomed.

More basement heli flying for me I guess.

Why are you bringing pastries to the slope?

He's still stoked from yesterday's big wind...... I got an extended kitchen pass so I'll be out and about today. Powerlines looks good right now but after yesterday I don't trust NREL anymore!! 30 out of the nw and when I get there just a little breeze out of the SE.....
Dean.....

What pastries???

You guys are sooo hardcore! I wish I had a posse around Missoula that would be willing to stand in the cold with me. Yesterday afternoon made it 5 days in a row for me that I was able to DS at either one of my 2 spots in town. Hikers passing by didn't know what to make of me. This is turning in to a great town for sloping.
Chris
BTW Karl, finished up the Bee with LED's. Performance for a delta wing is in a different ballpark compared to previous wings.

Opps! I mean Thurs.
The front is HERE now and I'm going for it!
Thanks Chris! I feel the same way about my Bees and, strangely, it can be a curse! Whenever I fly somthing else I just end up missing my bee. So I go get a new ship, put some work into it and then just end up asking myself why I used extra $$$ and energy on somrthing that, to me, is just not as fun/satisfying as the cheap easy bee, kinda like that not so cute girl that lives near by with the GREAT BODY. Sometimes you just can't help yourself, and BOY is it FUN!
Oh well, considering I'm the Bee dealer I guess I should not be complaining . It could only be worse, I'm just spoiled!

DANG! I don't know
Maybe we could just launch our Bees from that thing !
Man, I just got off the roof replacing the swamp cooler cover from the last episode of 80MPH winds that ripped the last one to SHREDS. I froze up surprisingly FAST. I'm sure cluching the aluminum ladder didn't help but WOW.
Off to the slope, cloud base is just above the Fish Bowl, not that a little cloud has stopped me before !

It was snowing lightly and cold (18F) at the Fishbowl too, but we still flew
for hours (Karl was out there before I was).
