Two questions for those who have the nacells that Jim has had made up :

Are all four the same or are the two inbord ones extended back beyond the trailing edge ?

All my plastic parts are the same size. There is a link for the Flite Metal earlier in this thread. I'm just gonna use Crome Ultracote for all the wood parts, and the crome duct tape for the plastic parts. I have plenty left over after installing a drier vent for the wife.

All the plastic nacelles are the same. We didn't ry to make that scale inboard one. Maybe in the future.

I trashed all the MicroSport core blanks when I moved. I hadn't sold one in years. I may be able to cot one if you are really desparate, or get Dennis to do it. THe plans should still be available from M.A.N. If not, I can run off a set.

OK Thanks Jim. After asking that question I looked back at each page untill I saw the pic you posted of the nacell and nose.
One size is fine. I'm not a "Stand-Off Scale Nut".
The reason I was wondering is retracts. Wondering if there would be a place to fold the legs into. After seeing the pic I came up with an easy solution shouhd I go the retract route.
The knee jerk idea is to just pull a new set. Not. I have never done one.
Second idea is the winner. Use the Lexan ones from the pieces you provide, cut then at the widest part and use the two peices as the front and back of the new longer inbord nacell. The middle can be framed out in balsa with 3 or four bulkheads, stringers and sheeted with 1/16 balsa. The lower streached section would mainly be the doors to cover the wheels when up.
I need to find some pic or line drawings for the B-29.

Oh. The Micro Sport. I would like to build one but have so many in the build cue.
I need to order the plan. I didn't know they were avalable at man. I have the article and little dfx from Kens site saved.

I'm going to start on my B-29 this week, Has anyone used lithiums to power their B-29.

As far as I know, Dennis is still cutting foam for the B-29. He works late hours, so have a little patients with him.

There are some B-29s running on Li-Pos get 20+ minute flights. Just remember you'll be pulling 40+ Amps, so size your pack accordingly.
