Those batteries would work perfect on a lot of FunJet setups, including the one I mentioned. I find that 3S 1800-2500mAh 20-40C all work very well all-around for FunJets.

If you're on a budget, HobbyCity's Turnigy motors would work well. Check that FunJet thread as I know there are many running Turnigy inrunners and outrunners in their FunJets.

Thx for your prompt reply......I will look through the thread and decide....out of curiosity...what is your setup?

I have 2 FunJets, the yellow/black FunJet as my avatar is setup as follows:
28-37-2 ARC motor w/5.5x4.3 Graupner CAM speed prop, 45-Amp CC Phoenix ESC, typically I use 3S 2200mAh 30C packs with this, it's fast, > 100mph top speeds, 21-22 oz. AUW. Max power draw is about 43 Amps WOT.

The other FunJet is powered by a MicroDAN 2505 Speed outrunner on a 5.5x4.5 APC prop. It is lighter at 18 oz. AUW, flies fast (nearly 85-90mph), and hand launches without effort. It's a very good setup, about 33-34 Amps max power draw, IMO, great for all-around flying.

How does the Funjet measure up to, say, a PZ Stryker?

I've been thinking of getting a speedy jet sorta plane, but would like to get something that slows down real well too. I was thinking of building a Stryker, but of course I'm checking out my options.
