Hello!
After a short brake on P-47 project , make some progress.
Lot of work , and not so much progress to see.
Finaly finished all the actuation on tail and tail-wheel.
Had some sinchronisation problems on tail wheel/air valve ( both must work same time ) air IN / wheel OUT.
Now is OK!
Remains only the gas servo to connect to engine, but for the moment have other priority, finishing the fuse covering with 1.5mm balsa and also finishing the fuse to wing joint ( 1mm ply ) on flaps region ( allready make the sample and this day put it on position ).
Thats all for the moment.
Soon more pics with the fuse complete sheeted.

JIMMY
P.S.
Got to fix the date/time on camera, have seen too late!
It's 2007! not 2006

Hello Tom!
Today had the first flight on this year!
To start successfuly a new flying season, used a simple trainer.
After some training, go further, if the weather keep to be fine.
This week had some fuse work.
These days hope to complete the fuse sheeting, and start the dirty job ( primering/sanding/primering/sanding a.s.o. ).The wing had allready the first coat of primer .

P.S.
Follow your progress on Stuka!

Glad you got some flying in, Jimmy. The snow just melted up here in Michigan.More is coming, however. I hope to fly sometime in early April.

The sanding/priming/filling thing is tedious, but rewarding. The effort expended is more than regained in the end result.

Thanks for the compliment on my Stuka. She's coming along.

I need to get the Gee Bee ready for the flying. Still a couple small items to go before she's flight ready.

Keep up the good work !!!

Looks like more good progress, Jimmy

A plastic model kit may help you visualize the problem areas. I'm using one, while working on my Stuka.

I think our snow is gone for good. We're planning to fly on Saturday, if it isn't raining.

Hello Tom!
These days bussy with a friend's trainer finish.
The guy will start his pilot activity .... so finger-cross.
... and my bellypan full ,afer the Easter Hollydays
A classic tail wheeler : 1600mm span 2.5kg and a .40 ( 6.5ccm )two stroke MVVS engine.
So .... no time for my Jug .

Hope until next week-end ,be able to finish the trainer and have a test flight.
It's a personal project ( scratch from plans to build ) tested first time , by my friend Mugurel and me also build one.
It flies like a .... trainer ,verry stable.With "hands-off".
Thank's for looking-in.

Hi Jimmy, Thanks for visting my Stuka threads, here, and at RCSB.

I, too, am building a trainer with a friend. It's his first RC project. Upon completion, I'll teach him how to fly it. We're having a good time, and he's learning a lot.

Every Friday, after we get off work, he comes over, and we see how much we can get done on his bird. The airframe is nearly complete. We should start covering in a couple weeks.

Empty your bellypan,, Jimmy. Get back to work on your Jug.
