Jim, the translation is quite accurate. I have the meaning said by one of the pilots somewhere in my house. I'll find it and post here.

OFF-Topic ( The Storch )

Hello
Something to show about the stage of work on my Storch.
Just a few pieces to place inside the cockpit and start to cover with SIG Koverall ( a new material for me ).The material testing made on the flaps and ailerons.
The hardware is on place and tested, servos ,rx , tip-tail and landing lights.Work on mixing the flap and aileron+elevator for landing.
Still to do the LE slat ( for the moment havent a building method for them ).

Fi-156 cushion

Hello

Thank's Rob

The material used for the cushion is a dense blue-type/coloured foam.
After the woodglue preparing of the surface , imitated the margins and the sewings.Painted with a mix of watercolour and woodglue. When all dried flattened the regions were the cushion is pressed by the pilot's body.
Finaly doing the weathering with a "dirty" paint, and polishing the same surfaces.

This a phrase first said by one of the P-47 pilots from the Rio Grande do Sul State in Brazil.

There is no literal translation. But basicaly means: Strike them down !
