Hello!
Had some work on tail wheel/gear.
The fork is made from hard plastic, and the lock is 1.5 alu.
All will be actuated by a servo or an air cylinder ( not for sure yet ) thru a bowden cable.
Wheel is a self-made mock-up, for testing

Hi McMyers!
In the end, This is how WING loks at this time!
Not so much improvement, but for the last month of 2006 is pretty much
X-mas and the Meeting with The New 2007 Year, stolen from me the precious time .... reserved to my dear P-47.
Starting a new year with fresh forces ( I hope ! ).
Between news, mounting the main gear aux. doors ( don't know how to actuate them yet ),testing the flaps and push-pull system on single servo, mounting the aileron servos, each with it's servo, completing the front edge of wing with a 5mm. balsa sheet and trying to resolve the wing-to-fuse attachment lines on back side of wing ( flaps region ) ... for the moment not so glad to do this job.
Also work on fitting the Belly Pan on wing and fuse .... an unusual way to mount the wing to fuse ( my opinion ).Maybe will be an Registred Trade-Mark
Explanation:
After mounting the wing, over the mid part of wing and over the end part of fuse will be mounted the Belly, a separate piece ..... Uah
As I can, will post a photo ..... probably understand better than my poor english
Till then Your's

Sorry!
Got to make a correction!
The hinges and the hardening are made of 3mm. PLY
And the door ( to prevent changing the form ) a ply-like balsa sandwich with GF cloth and resin.

Hi folks!
This afernoon had some gunsight study, and discover that the starting scheme was wrong.
Must rebuild the gunsight, don't like how it looks.
Also cmpleted the rear end of wing/fuse connection ( in the end ! ) remains the front piece of wing-to-fuse connection.
Also had a sanding portion of wing sheeting.
For tonight had to think how will actuate the ruder ( by wires or by bowden cable ).This will be the next step, before the fuse sheeting.
Not too much news for the moment .
Tour's

Hello!
1.This is how the gunsight looks.
2.After more colour options, offered by Net and some books, MY definitive colour combination on Gaby's plane.
For the moment, making samples for the front part of the cabin ( missing details ), gunsight mount, instrument panel mount, rudder pedalls.
Also fitting the root of the wing on fuse.
Between finesses, some routine work on a .40 engine powered trainer 1600mm. span est. weight 3kg.( spring is not so far and got to be ready ).
Seeya!
