You don't need to keep apologizing for your English. It's very good and I have no trouble understanding you. I am following this build with great interest. |

I'll have to look for the chip for you. I have it tucked away someplace. The color is almost a blue green.
Evil, I went through lots of Republic paint records for the 47 and every single paint spec called for Bronze green. I spoke with 3 people that worked at Republic building 47s and they confirmed that Republic never used anything but Bronze green in the cockpits of 47s. Only in other interior areas of the plane was Chromate green used. If you have other records I would like to know about them for my reference collection. I just have way too much time on my hands! Nothing to be shame for! I'm sure that the time You spent on this hobby,it's equal with those who build non-ARF's, also, I'm sure that Your flying skils are better too .One can't be a good builder AND a good flyer .... my opinion. ( only a few exceptions > I'm surely not belong to that category ).At least 90% of my free time is filled-up with building and researching. Probably the building "virus" had no cure .Thank's for your attention on this project. Your's JIMMY |

I am still looking for the chip I have. It is not a paint chip like you normally see, but a chip of paint from the cockpit of a P-47 that I was able to get my hands on a few years ago. I also have a chip from the cockpit of one of the F4F-3 Wildcats that were brought up from the bottom of the lake, and they match perfectly.
Here is a photo of a Wildcat cockpit. The interior color is correct and matches the 47 chip I have. Hans |

I'v tryed to compare the two colours ..... ( bronze green cutted from the pic posted by You and interior green from my colour chips / not shure that mine it's the real one). But can see that bronze green has a blue shade, and the interior green has a yellow one. Anyway, it's a study thema .... for me Jimmy |
