painted my first body, need help with rider

I just finished painting my first body, its the first thing ive painted, not just my first bike so im quite proud.
Heres what i copied, an artists impression of what porsche's future gp bike might look like

and heres mine. The decals are inside and the pinstripes are painted.

Thing is, how to paint the rider. The same colours obviously, but ive no rider to copy. Has anyone got a pic of something i can copy? Then ill just change it to blue and orange leathers.

I also just found this

I have another desmo body so might try this one out too.

I know there not real bikes but im a BIG VW/Porsche fan so it made sense

Thanx , yeah, the drawings a little dark so i just went with the best blue i could find. My local model shop is a bit rubish, but luckily they had the right colours.

I didnt worry too much about copying body shape either as i doubt the real bike will look like the pic.

Front and rear mud guards arent fixed yet, any advise on how? I was going to use them little sticky pads.

Neat Job.

I usually spray my rider one colour and then use a brush to put any details on.Just spray some paint into a spray can cap and dip the brush in that.

Very good job! You must be a natural being your first paint job. How many hours did it take?

in total i guess about 12-14 hours but i did it pretty much in one day, just finished of the pinstripe today. Did lots of thin coats and put em on the radiator between coats to speed things up. Hopefully it wont peel, but it will probably get smashed before it gets a chance to flake

Do you think this scheme would work, in the same shades as the bike?

You might want to put that one on the shelf. With one exception, I think 12-14 minutes is about the longest I've ever spent on a paint job. And 12-14 minutes is usually about how long my bikes will still look good after I start running them.
